It's a new day, it's a new dawn, and I'm feeling good....

That title comes from a Michael Buble song, it's a good song and it just came to me. Anywho, life if good. School work here is busy, tons of reading, but it's good. Life is kind of in limbo right now, we're all waiting to go to Galalee here in two weeks and so all that really happens is school and trying to stay busy. I continue to look for work, I've sent out a number of resumes (I think I'm over 15), I've been told that often times you need to send out over 60, so I'm still shy a few, but I will continue the hunt. There really isn't too much to report. Have a good one!

I take it that you've already started studying the New Testament, if you are getting ready to head up to the Galilee. Have you had Lina's hummus yet? How do you like Shabban's? Anyway, that's awesome about the resumes. The more you send out, the better. Good luck with that, and have a falafel for me!!

Hey! I haven't read for a little bit and I had a lot to catch up on! I loved reading everything. Rain in the Old City is my favorite. It rained one of the first times I went out in the Old City and it was so beautiful, with the water running down the streets .. .

And, I agree with Matt! Lina's hummus is really, really good. My group is having a pita party on friday and hopefully we will be able to make some good hummus. At least there is always peanut butter and honey :)

The only thing I liked about the Kibbutz were the dates (the fruit haha). It definitely is an interesting way of living.

I liked seeing the pictures. Did you learn the ritual for praying when you visited the mosque in Egypt?

Good luck with the job hunt!

Michael, my good friend, sounds like you are having an awesome trip (and learning lots too, of course)! I'm glad you've been posting on here a lot more since I never get to see you anymore...I need to be better at posting more often on mine, actually...maybe I will be inspired by your example. :) Anyways, I was just coming on here to wish you a very happy birthday...so: "Duh duh duh HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I'm sure it will be an awesome one! Talk to you later! :)
